Cowes, The Fountain Inn is renowned as a great central meeting point for
locals, holidaymakers, and yachts-people alike. The Fountain and the
marina at the rear of the building date back to 1793 and Cowes comes
alive in June each year for the Round The Island yacht race. The summer
continues to be a hive of activity with the highlight of Cowes Week
Regatta during the first week of August. |

 The
Fountain, a traditional period Inn in the heart of Cowes, is a
very popular venue being the ideal haven for yachting
enthusiasts, business people and holiday makers. The landing place
at the back of the hotel is a highlight of this
establishment. Inside, the traditionally appointed venue we offer a wide choice of
freshly prepared meals, as well as a range of cask conditioned ales and an
extensive wine list. Our new Segafredo Coffee Lounge serves a range
pastries, cakes & quality speciality coffees
throughout the day until early evening.
Together with our peaceful surroundings visitors can
enjoy their meal to the full. The Fountain,
overlooking the River Medina and with beautiful
harbour views from the patio, has recently been
refurbished. All 20 comfortable en-suite
bedrooms have complete facilities including a CD
player. Large feature rooms are also available
to maximise your overnight experience. All our
rooms are very well priced and include a full
English breakfast, which are also available to non
residents. This is one of the Isle of Wight's
