 The Encore is in an excellent location next door to the
theatre, beneath an office block, in a commercial area of Southampton.
Built in about the mid 1970's, this is a friendly pub with a unique
atmosphere. Being laid out on different levels with separate areas
enables you to have a quiet drink, a sociable meal or enjoy a good time with
friends. Although we are particularly popular on theatre nights and
Fridays, the well segregated areas can cater for everyone. Our
clientele reflects this with business people, shoppers, theatre goers and
regulars all coming to enjoy the ambiance. Food is served from a wide
ranging menu and, with the majority being prepared to order from fresh
ingredients, people return on a regular basis. For those with limited
time we are happy to take orders by phone or fax so that your meal is ready
on arrival and large group bookings can also be taken. Next time you
