The Coach & Horses lies on the outskirts of Portsmouth about a mile from the City Centre on a roundabout in Hilsea. We had a refurbishment Summer 2011 with a change of concept. Good pub food is served from the Flaming Grill menu with a range of sizzling pub dishes. Originally a Coaching Inn it is distinguished by its castle like appearance and is a landmark for those who live locally. The whole pub has light and bright decor with stylish lighting, fixtures and fittings with two real fires which are lit during winter months to still give it that cosy feel. We have a good range of clientele from the regular locals to business people, families and other diners. Covering the whole age spectrum and very mixed, everyone is given a fine welcome. With two Guest ales to try this is a venue well worth visiting next time you are in the area. |
