Photo Coming SoonThe Beacon is a first class locals pub next to a parade of shops in a housing estate off a main road leading into Basingstoke.  It is a very quiet residential area with this pub actively creating a trouble free and female friendly place for anyone to visit.  This has been brought about by Shani, who took over the pub in May 2003.  Being locally born and bred here she used to drink at the Beacon!  She has decorated the pub herself in blue and cream and re-varnished the bar to offer a beautifully maintained venue to try with friends.  With lots of new faces, since the word has got around, Shani's homemade Sunday lunches are extremely popular!  The pub has a lively end with pool and pay per view matches shown on the TVs.  The other end is quiet with a relaxed environment to enjoy a pint and a chat.  The Beacon is all new and now well worth coming to soon!
