to The Victoria
Pub soon, not to be mistaken with the Hotel of the same name down
the road! Located just off Victoria near the station we offer a very
attractive building with Georgian style windows and double doors. In
the summer we hang many floral baskets to attract passers by. Inside
the pub is really traditional with plenty of booths for you to sit with
friends. We have created an excellent environment for you to have a
decent conversation as the background music is kept low through our internet
system. In the evenings this is not heard at all because of the large
crowd of chatting customers! We welcome everyone to try us out, mainly
seeing office workers on a daily basis. This is a little out of the way
to see tourists. Our customers come directly from work in the evening
to have a quality pint from the bar or a wholesome meal. Food is
available from a main menu as well as House specials which include popular
favourites such as lasagne, scampi and Cajun chicken grills! There are
also a number of Daily specials to choose from, like smoked salmon fish
cakes & Kashmiri chicken. If you are looking for a lighter option
then a Salad bar is open until just after lunch. Friday evening is our
most busy time so food service is stopped early. As we are only open
on weekdays the whole pub is available for hire at weekends, all
enquiries are welcome. The helpful team await your visit.
