Photo Coming SoonThe Sun is conveniently located just two minutes walk from Romford town centre in a community setting.  This is a traditional John Barras style pub with one bar area.  The big screens are at either end of the pub.  One shows all sport and the other is brought into play for the major matches such as England!  You will never miss your favourite game here with rugby, Grand Prix and golf all being televised.  Popular for food, local business people come to enjoy a lunchtime meal or a drink with colleagues.  Julie, the publican, has ensured that this is a trouble free and very female friendly venue.  This is reinforced by super staff who get to know the clientele, welcome strangers and make this the fun, sociable pub it is.  We do plenty of fund raising events and to date have banked £2,000 for Charity.  There is a function room which can cater for 75 people and this is used weekly for the local folk club as well as private parties.  When you are next down this way, make sure you pop in to the Sun to receive your warm welcome!

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
