Spread Eagle pub Wandsworth, London

Standing in the centre of Wandsworth town is this most splendid Victorian building.  Dating back to the 1600's, the Spread Eagle was a  former Coaching Inn of the same name and was replaced by the current pub in 1898.  Inside, this stunning building is quite something to look at, leaving many people speechless upon entering.  Original features such as fine etched glasswork and mirrors, beautiful mahogany joinery and staircase along with the big, ornate leaded skylight make this a 'must' to visit.  There are three bars and a bistro area in all.  Sport facilities include a pool table and two darts boards and several screens including a projector screen to watch the major matches.  Having the air of a traditional drinking establishment, serving quality real ales and hearty pub food, there is a relaxed, laid back atmosphere here.  Come and try out this quality, great locals pub soon.  You will receive a warm welcome.
