Situated in a wonderful
location overlooking the River Thames, The Ship
is one of the famous South West London pubs. We are close to landmarks
like Wandsworth Bridge and Wandsworth Town Train Station and easily located between Dolphin House Riverside, the Old Tram
Shed and Hanson’s Concrete distribution depot. A relaxed informal drinking and dining
venue awaits you with popular Young’s real ales. Comfortable, bright
and open plan yet with nooks and crannies for intimate private conversation,
we have a really nice public bar, lounge bar and restaurant. These
have mixed
fashions from opulent gilded mirrors, etched glass and real fires, to more
contemporary styles. We have an extra special function room as well as
a restaurant
which seats up to 40 in the winter but extends in the summer time due to the
outdoor area to 160 people. The massive outdoor riverside drinking area can
cater for up to 400 people and has large umbrellas and heater for hot days
and colder nights. This is a popular venue for private parties al fresco.
All our food is freshly prepared on the premises and cooked to order with
dishes such as our famous crispy pork belly to our irresistible handmade
sticky toffee puddings. We attract local residents, public school trade and people who
make a special trip here just for the food. The Ship Inn is
