The Ship is located close
to Crystal Palace football ground on South Norwood High Street. Originally
constructed on the banks of what used to be the Croydon Canal, hence the
name, the present building dates back to approximately 1853.
Refurbished in 2004, the pub has one long, split-level bar with a darts
board and pool table to the rear and an open fire. This is a good locals bar offering quality
real ales in a convivial atmosphere. We are popular for Sport with
all major matches shown on
the big screen. If you are in the area come and make this your local
too.
