Ship PhotoThe Ship is a small traditional pub with a unique character located in Gidea Park, a very picturesque area near Romford.  This listed building is 500 years old and the only pub of its kind in the area.  Outside there is an enclosed garden with a pleasant seating area.  Inside the decor is traditional and the pub has retained its original exposed beams and open fireplaces making it feel very cosy in winter.  Food is served all day every day and a particular favourite is the home cooked Sunday Roast which usually runs out!  Unsurprisingly the pub gets many visitors but also attracts local people of all ages from this up market area.  There is a popular weekly quiz and Charity events are held regularly in support of the local Hospice.  The helpful team at The Ship look forward to seeing you very soon.
