This traditional olde worlde pub is a former hotel built in the 1800's.  We have kept our character with the pub having a public bar with screens, lounge bar and a couple of function rooms.  Away from the high street the Royal Oak has a good atmosphere showing matches on the big screen and serving quality food and drink.  Our lunchtime food includes specials plus the popular Sunday roast.  At all other times food can be chosen from a very good extensive menu.  This is a family pub with two play areas to cater for different age groups.  The pub also is attractive because of its trouble free atmosphere.  Come and enjoy our hospitality with friends or family at the Royal Oak.
