Red Lion Photo

Opposite the Cenotaph in the heart of Westminster, The Red Lion is 110 years old but there has been an Inn on this site since 1435.  Three minutes from Parliament and close to many famous attractions we are popular with the tourist trade.  Tourists come here because of our traditional English homemade food which is second to none.  We are a thriving pub being a famous haunt for journalists, a place where TV interviews are held and where civil servants and parliamentary lobbyists come for a sociable time.  We have no plastic type furnishings nor loud music or machines, just a cosy friendly atmosphere for people to enjoy quality food and drink.  Our added attraction is the Cellar Bar which is often used for leaving do's.  The pub is on three floors so the regulars are luck enough to have their own bar.  Come and join us soon for a traditional time out.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
