Located
near the Radio 1 studios and Little Venice in Maida Vale, the Prince
Alfred is a beautiful Victorian pub built in 1863 with hand-painted
designs on the walls and ceilings. Adjoining the traditional pub is the
modern, minimalist dining room of 52 covers which offers English to
European dishes, all
freshly prepared and cooked to order. We are very proud to have been named as one of the top
three Gastro pubs in London!
Extremely popular with the local clientele, people also come from the other
side of London and beyond to eat here. The signature dish is Foie
Gras Pate which has
been on the menu for three years and is a particular favourite, along with
the Sunday Roast. The menu is accessible to everyone with dishes
starting at £8. There is an impressive selection of wines to
complement your meal, including champagnes. If customers are looking
for a more informal moment the pub has a very different
atmosphere. It is quite unique by still having the original
Victoria Listed wooden partitions
which divide the area into five separate snugs - an ideal place to
have a good conversation. Here you can choose something from a snack
type menu along with a
quality drink from the bar. If you are looking for a venue which offers
something a little bit different come along to the Prince Alfred. Your
journey will definitely be worth it!
