 The Porchester
is a contemporary style venue close
to Kensington Gardens and the Royal Oak tube station in Bayswater.
The famous Notting Hill Carnival comes past here every year.
Having had a full refurbishment in May 2008 we now have a décor of warm
colours, reds, oranges and browns. There is a mixture of seating
from high benches to comfy armchairs in an open plan setting with low
lighting. The attractive fireplace with real effect gas fire is a
welcome feature in the middle of winter. This all makes for a very
relaxed environment to enjoy a drink alone or with friends. It is
also an ideal place to choose for a tasty meal. Quality food is
served from a menu offering a variety of British dishes, along with a
lunchtime express menu available Monday to Friday. There is also a
Specials board for extra variety. All our food is freshly prepared
in-house using fresh ingredients and cooked to order. Smart dress
code is the order of the day so come along soon and enjoy a rather
special experience.
