 The
Orange previously a brewery started brewing it's own beer in 1983 but this
ceased in the early part of 2001. The pub though, has continued to
offer its customers old and new a fine selection of beers, 5 real ales at
any one time and a wide range of wines! This can all be found within
this elegant building which is surrounded by both residential and business
properties. The very traditional atmosphere is therefore enjoyed by a
wide range of clientele from office workers, business people, residents and
tourists. To cater for both drinkers and diners we have separate bar
and dining room areas, although food can be tried anywhere in the pub.
There is a great atmosphere created by our friendly regulars and not spoilt
by noisy sports on the TV or loud music. The food served daily is a
big draw with delicious meals available not only from the main menu but a
Specials menu, all of which are freshly prepared and cooked to order.
If you are looking
for a place to hold a function, then the Orange can cater for
you. The dining room can be closed off, partially or in full, for all
types of gatherings. Our warm welcoming staff look forward to seeing
