The
Museum Tavern is well known for being unspoilt by noisy
games machines, TVs or other modern entertainment. This very traditional English
pub is a listed building, steeped in history with even
the window glass being listed! This is a place to enjoy a relaxed
drink and conversation or sample a hearty meal / lighter snack. The
food is served from a mixed main menu with additional daily Specials.
These choices include such favourites as the famous Lamb Childer with
apricot sauce, Sausage & Mash, Pies, Lasagne etc. We are not one
of London's hectic pubs, just one with a steady trade all day. The
range of beers are extra special with a superb selection of Cask Marque
approved real ales. Situated directly opposite the British Museum we
attract many tourists as well as a good crowd of loyal regulars, including
local workers. Wayne and the friendly team are awaiting your
visit. See you soon.
