The Mill Hill
is located just 200 yards from Acton tube station on a main road, the pub is
often the first port of call for antipodeans coming to London. The atmosphere is relaxed, for drinkers
and diners, with wooden floors and fabulous lighting throughout. We
have a good trade from the local community to which the football we show
goes down well. Most of the staff here are Aussies or Kiwis so this is home from
home for travellers from that part of the world! We generally have a core
of them for a few months and when they move on, another group replaces
them. The London All Blacks Rugby team congregate and hold meetings
here. The bar is quieter during the day but gradually fills up from 4pm
with commuters. Sport is big here and, apart from showing the rugby on the
plasma screens, we also have three pool
tables to allow plenty of games to be played. This is the only venue in the area to have such
excellent facilities. Food is served throughout from our main menu with
usually a great deal. You can choose to dine in the very nice dining area or anywhere
else in the pub including the garden, weather permitting. Whatever your nationality, if you are looking for a fun over 18's pub to enjoy a meal or
maybe a drink then come along to the Mill Hill! |
