 Located next to Orpington Station,
The Maxwell is an old Coaching Inn
on the London road. It still has an old fashioned look but is nicely
presented with hanging baskets outside and feature fireplaces inside.
It
is all one bar but one end is quiet with no music playing which encourages
conversation or a relaxed drink. Popular for food at lunchtime and
early evening, this can be chosen from a well presented, varied
main menu and a snack menu after that. In summer 2004 we had a revamp to
improve what we offer to our valued customers. This is a trouble free venue where all are
welcome and feel comfortable in the relaxed atmosphere. Just what
you want after a hard day at the office. Why not call in soon and
maybe try your luck in the quiz, watch a football or rugby match, or chill
