 The Lord Napier is situated on a
main road, in a residential area, a five minute walk from Goodmayes main line station. From here to London takes a quarter of an hour and
there are also good bus
routes which stop outside the pub. The pub was built in the late 1800’s
and was a former
Coaching Inn. The refurbishment in April 2008 included new carpets and
wooden flooring, new fixtures, fittings and decor. There are two bars with a pool area holding the
four pool tables and a local lounge area. Outside there is a good
sized beer garden with bench seating and large umbrellas which is very
popular throughout the summer months. Today we are a friendly, trouble free venue, a popular bar
to enjoy watching Sport on the large screens or taking part in a game of pool
or listening to fantastic live music which we sometimes hold on a Saturday night. As well as
having a large regular locals following, we have some passing trade in this
relaxed community venue. Come and enjoy a good night out at Lord
