 The Leather Bottle is situated in the
residential area of Tooting and boasts possibly the largest beer garden in South West of London!
This friendly,
trouble free venue caters mainly for residents in the local vicinity,
teachers and office workers, where the majority tend to be over 25’s. Dating back
to the
1700’s, the pub was refurbished to a high standard in 2005. The whole
frontage remains original and is listed. The old part of
the building has retained a traditional feel with the modern extension
having a cosy style about it.
There are open fireplaces and plenty of space in the bar and a 40 cover
restaurant. You can dine throughout the venue or al fresco in the summer time, with
BBQs held throughout the warmer months. You can even hire the BBQ for
your own party. Good pub food, all cooked to order is served daily with
the Sunday lunch being particularly popular. Make sure you
turn up early! Key date special events like Bonfire night are usually a sell out.
