 King George V was built in 1953 and is positioned on a main road
close to residential areas, just a five minute walk from Gantshill tube
station. Having had a sparkle in 2004 the pub is bright, fresh and
clean with brand new tables and chairs in keeping with it’s traditional
image. The pub has a single bar area with a walk through open plan
layout for food and sport. During the day our value for
money food is very popular, attracting regulars, office workers, labourers
and teachers alike. Food can be eaten anywhere in the pub or outside
if the weather permits where we have two patio areas with benches front and
back. Come the evening we are a pre-club venue and, of course, when
the football is on we are packed! Everyone is welcome here, the
atmosphere is great and we are great and friendly. Come
along soon and have a really good night out, a tasty meal or a chat with
