Hoop & Toy PhotoSet in an excellent location, within the upmarket area of Kensington, the Hoop & Toy is a welcoming, friendly English type pub.  We are very close to major attractions in London, many accessible via the Tube station 2 minutes walk away. Harrods is a short walking distance with both the Victoria & Albert and Natural History museums only one block away.  Hyde Park is 5 minutes down the road.  The current building dates back to 1926 but there has been a licensed establishment on this site since 1760.  We have tried to capture this history by keeping the decor very traditional with such features as Dickensian pictures on the walls, brass and bric-a-brac ornaments plus authentic tables, butchers tables and chairs!  There are both upstairs and basement bars which are ideal venues for private functions or meetings.  The publican has been accredited the Cask Marque standard for serving excellent real ales. A fantastic range is available at all times.  These, along with the wholesome food, are appreciated daily by our regulars.  Our locals include people with country estates along with staff from the museums and office workers. Many passing tourists are drawn in and we are a favourite stop for the Hospitality Line Groups from all over Europe. Most popular during the winter, probably because of our appearance, this pub is nevertheless an excellent choice at any time.  With a function room to complete our range of facilities you will not find better nearby.  The Hoop & Toy is noted for its friendly staff who are waiting to offer you great service!
