 The Head is the first pub on Holloway Road. The building is very old
and has been a Theatre and a Sanatorium in a former life. Nowadays we are
very locally based with a good regulars clientele. The rear of the
property is listed with traditional wood floors and fireplace, whereas the front is more modern. Office workers,
the retired and passers by call in at lunchtime and early
evening for a meal from the main menu or a drink at the bar. Sport is
quite high on the agenda with all major matches shown on the big screen.
Other sports facilities include pool and darts which are usually practiced
in teams. If you are new to the
area why not give us a try and meet the friendly locals to strike up a good conversation. Theresa and her helpful team look forward to seeing new
