 The
Hare & Hounds in East Sheen has the appearance of a
Georgian building with sash windows and pillars to either side of the
entrance. Inside you will be welcomed by a warm, friendly and
professional team. The decor of the whole building is traditional with
different areas to cater for our real mix of clientele. We see local
regulars
of all ages, diners for lunch and evening meals and a friendly Sports
following who are keen on football and rugby. A number of customers
enjoy watching the racing in the public bar and some have a flutter at the
bookmakers next door. The pub has a large bar with a wide selection of
draught and bottled products. To the left is a public bar and to the right, a
separate saloon bar. Beyond this bar, many are attracted to the area
which houses the wood burning stove with it's comfy sofas, there is also booth seating and the patio / beer
garden can be accessed through French doors. Our beer garden is a real
gem and is one of two main attractions to this venue. The other is our
Sunday lunch which is so popular that it is advisable to book
in advance. We are a good
choice for social eating welcoming many families and couples. We can
complement your meal with an extensive selection of the best wines and
champagnes. The Hare & Hounds has good disabled access with a lift so
that wheelchair users can go anywhere in the pub. When travelling to
nearby attractions like Kew Gardens, Richmond Park or the Wildlife Wetland
Centre make sure you take time out at this special venue. We are even
close to Mortlake train station. David, Julie and the team look
