FUNCTION ROOMS

We have 2 function rooms available to hire for private parties. Room 1 is private with fully equipped sound system, private smoking area, bar & cloak room facility. This can accommodate up to 180 guests. Room 2 is a semi private room which leads to the garden, for private parties you may hire the garden room & a garden. This can hold up to 200 guests and has a fireplace, television and toilet facilities. Very popular for birthdays, anniversaries & wedding receptions. Buffets & sit down meals can be catered for. The Furzedown, formerly known as the Samuel Johnson, stands within 500 metres of two stations in Streatham.  Being at the heart of the community we offer hospitality to local people, clubs and organisations.  It is a place to come and relax, whilst taking a drink from the wide choice of beers, spirits and wines.  There is also a good selection of soft drinks, fruit juices, tea and coffee on offer.
