The Dukes Head is an impressive
Victorian building located on the riverside at Putney. Two sides are glass fronted
offering superb views of the River Thames. The lounge and dining room have a Victorian
theme with the original ornate glass throughout, along with impressive
mirrors. What used to be a derelict skittle alley in the basement is now
quite a retro 60 / 70’s styled room. The VIP Club Room is a popular venue
for all occasions from business meetings to small weddings and can be hired
out free of charge. We offer a fine dining experience with freshly
prepared, cooked to order meals from our main menu alongside sharing boards
which have, for example, smoked duck, Dorset ham and old English sausage
with mustard and pickles. The Sunday menu includes a delicious
traditional British Sunday lunch with a choice of succulent roasts.
You can choose to dine in the dining room, bar area or al fresco in
the summer,
overlooking the river. Come and try out this special food house next
