The Dukes Head is an impressive
grand Victorian grade II listed building that has watched over the River
Thames for nearly 150 years. Fully refurbished early 2012 it sits at
the start of the Oxford and Cambridge University Boat Race, and she has
enjoyed this uniquely British battle of the oars for over a Century.
The Rowing Club situated on the lower ground with a riverside terrace, this
is the social hub of Putney. Hosting everything from live music acoustic
sets to stand up comedy and film screenings; there really is no reason to
ever leave. We know and love our steak and so will only use the finest
slowly matured British beef; cut fresh to order, griddled on the highest
heat and sat to rest before serving. Main menu and bar menus are
available with a variety of tempting and creative dishes. Wanting to
book a table, arranging a party or do you want to chat with food then please
feel free to contact us whatever your query may be. We hope to see you soon.
