The Duke of Wellington is located in the heart of
London's
Portobello Road which is famous for it’s market. This is a traditional pub, with a
friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We had a refurbishment in April 2009 now
with new carpets & furnishings adding two new ladies toilets. Because of our position, we have many
tourists, but also a good base of regular local characters who visit us as well.
Popular for food throughout the daytime we serve fresh homemade food which
is all cooked to order. There is a good range of traditional English food
with long running favourites such as our hand made 'pie of the day'. To accompany
your meal we have a great selection of drinks,
from real ales, to fine wines. We get especially lively at weekends.
There is something for everyone here, so
whatever you are looking for you will find here. Come and try out the
