Dog & Bull PhotoLocated on a back street off the main street in Croydon, quite well hidden from people who have never been here before, you will find the Dog & Bull.  This Grade II listed building is thought to have been here since the 13th century.  Inside it has that great old fashioned, traditional feel about it with bare floorboards, cream painted walls and wood panelling.  Outside people are always surprised by our beer garden, which has ample seating and even a BBQ.  The town market is held six days a week and sells everything from fruit and vegetables to clothes.  We are one of the traditional pubs left in the country, where you can enjoy a good pint and a chat, with no music or TV on, except for big events.  A real ale house, we have a good selection of ales with a seasonal guest ale available.  You will always be made welcome here and the atmosphere is very relaxed with usually local regulars, stall holders and shoppers stopping off for a break.  We are quite a small venue and used to be a quaint cheese shop. We offer fresh rolls which are available all day every day for a bite to eat.  When you are next in town, look us up and treat yourself to a rather special real ale.
