Lodge is situated
in the suburbs of Croydon with a tram stop just a five minute walk away. The original
building, which is Grade II listed, dates back to 1624 when it was a house in an estate of 3.5 acres. It has been a bar / hotel
since 1988. Refurbished as a new Beefeater in October 2006, it retains
a grand oak staircase and much of the main façade which dates back to the 18th
Century. We are now a popular pub and restaurant with leather booth
seating in the 250 cover restaurant, a large bar and an extensive beer
garden with outdoor dining. We are visited as much for our bar facilities as for the
excellent selection of food we serve. The Premier Inn offers 39 comfortable rooms all with satellite
