If you know the
The Compton Arms, well done, finding us can be tricky!
but we are all the better for it. However increasing numbers of pub goers regard
The Compton as the last of the 'Real Pubs' in Islington.
The heart of the pub lies with it's customers, we do not have music or
fruit machines, the only entertainment is the company you keep and the
odd football match. For all Arsenal home games the Compton Arms
opens it's doors at 11am, it is the ideal venue to start the festivities
being only 15 minutes from the Emirates Staium. The Landlords - Eileen and Scott regard The
Compton Arms as a traditional British Pub and make no compromises to
their vision. We are known for our great ales and simple homemade
food. With the Onset of the 'Smoking Ban' and the need to increase
capacity the Courtyard Garden has been refurbished and now boasts a
relaxing seating area, ideal for during the drier months. If you're looking for a venue that offers all the
traditional values we've spoken about please pay us a visit.
