Castle PhotoThe Castle is situated in the centre of town on the High Street just 50 yards from Tooting Broadway's Northern Line Tube Station.  A well kept modern traditional style pub, there is wall, table and chair seating along with two real fires, one at each side of the pub.  There is something for everyone here, good ale, food, Sport and company.  You will always receive a friendly welcome.  As well as being a community pub, we are known as a meeting place before moving on to other venues or as a place to end the evening.  We also have many commuters and people having a drink after work, medical students, hospital workers and visitors plus netball and five a side football teams meeting here.  With a good reputation as a trouble free venue, we have won the ‘safe pub of the year award’ in the past within the borough.  Our self contained function room is a popular choice for any occasion.  Well looked after, it is suitable for all occasions from weddings to retirement do's.  Major matches are shown in the bar on plasma screens. As well as all this we offer freshly cooked to order pub food, which can be eaten throughout the pub.  This is 'the' place to come if you are in the area.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
