Photo Coming SoonLocated between two villages in Bexley you will find the Blue Anchor.  It moved from one side of the road to the other in the 1920's and is a traditional venue with an old fireplace and a couple of church pews in an open plan setting.  We get a good range of people, regulars and passers by with lots of families, especially in the summer.  There is a friendly, relaxed rather than lively, atmosphere here.  With Sky Sports and plasma screens enthusiasts never need to miss a game.  Really good food, which is better than your average 'pub grub'  is served from a great main menu and can be eaten anywhere in the pub or in the massive beer garden, weather permitting. There is an outdoor children's play area with a new play castle where younger visitors can be kept busy for hours. This gives the parents a chance to relax over a drink and have an uninterrupted conversation!  We have a lot to offer so do come and give us a try soon, you will not be disappointed.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
