English Ale Festival in celebration of St George.
Come and take part in our new English Ale Festival, running
until the 28th May. As well as a number of English cask ales you
can request us to source locally brewed beers! In addition to
superb beers we have launched a newsletter with lots of helpful
information. You can also take part in our collector scheme,
whereby if you purchase 9 festival bitters you will be entered
into a free prize draw to win a limited edition glass tankard
engraved with the Festival logo. |

The Angel is an old
traditional building inside and out located in London's East End. This
is the only pub left in the area
which has retained its traditional style - the rest are wine bar / modern
in style. Situated in a commercial area, we are popular with people of
all ages and throughout the day many office workers pop in for a
refreshing drink or a bite to eat. There are two distinct areas, the
main bar and a place where you can enjoy Sport. We have a pool table
and two darts boards along with several screens to watch the match of the
moment. In addition we also have a separate function room, which can
be hired out for meetings and private occasions. We have a fine selection of cask ales on
offer which always include Tetley and Pedigree. If real ale is for
