Located between two villages in Bexley you will find
The
Anchor, formerly
known as the Blue Anchor. It moved from one side of the road to the other in the
1920's and is a traditional venue with an old fireplace and a couple of
church pews in an open plan setting. We had a full refurbishment in
Autumn 2010 and get a good range of people,
regulars and passers by with lots of families, especially in the
summer. There is a friendly, relaxed rather than lively, atmosphere
here. Really good food, which is better than your average 'pub grub' is served from a
fantastic menu. Meals can be eaten anywhere
in the pub or in the massive beer garden, weather permitting. We have a lot to offer so do come and
give us a try soon, you will not be disappointed. |
