Alexandra PhotoThe Alexandra is situated in down town Wimbledon, (a great shopping area), just a minutes walk from the main train and tube lines.  A corner Victorian building, inside is split into two very different styles, a conventional pub and a modern wine bar.  We are everything to all people.  We like to keep the pub as traditional as possible and have three bars.  Here you can relax on a sofa in the comfy seating area.  A popular pub for Sport we show all major matches on the big screen and two other TVs.  The chic wine bar can be entered from St Mark’s Place and has a very different ambiance, with wood flooring, and a light airy feel, offering live weekend entertainment until 1am.  The smart, large rooftop garden is ideal for alfresco dining or a refreshing drink in the warmth of the summer sun.  There is a cover which can be pulled over.  The landlady, Betty, is a cordon bleu chef and, along with the French chefs, offers a delicious menu.  The food is freshly prepared, cooked to order using fresh produce and everything is homemade.  The wide variety includes such dishes as mackerel with poached eggs down to panninis. You can choose to dine in the pub or in the wine bar with full table service.  Come and enjoy a good meal, a quality drink or some live music at the Alexandra.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
