 Albert
Tavern is an attractive traditional community town pub, a silver
/ grey
rendered building covered with hanging baskets and troughs. It is a
corner pub on the junction of 4 roads not far from the Country Park and
Golf range. The pub has one large diamond shaped bar offering a
fine selection of drinks and sport is shown on the plasma and big screens. We
were refurbished in February 2003 with a traditional modern decor which has a
very calming effect. Within the bar there is a quiet are which is popular for diners.
Food is served every day from a varied pub food menu with daily offers
on your favourite dishes. We also serve a value for money Sunday roast from
a choice of usually 2 meats. The Albert Tavern is women friendly and trouble free
which encourages many people to bring their friends. As well as
live a regular quiz night, we often hold live music. Outside you will
find a large beer garden with benches and umbrellas.
Although the Albert Tavern doesn't have its own car park there is ample parking around
the pub. We are always a great choice for an enjoyable time - give
us a try soon.
