White Horse PhotoLocated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Thornbury you will find the White Horse on the A38 at Buckover.  With access from Junction 14 of the M5 not far away, this is certainly a destination food house to be tried.  Originally an old Cider pub, the inside has retained a traditional feel with its original fireplaces. The restaurant is impressive with 60 covers where you can relax and enjoy your choice of dish which is freshly prepared and cooked to order from the menu or regularly changing Specials board.  There is an excellent range of wines to complement your meal or several real ales if preferred.  Outside the safe, enclosed garden has a play area for our younger visitors to amuse themselves whilst the adults chill out in the summer sunshine over a drink or meal.  Come along soon to this trouble free, family friendly venue for a meal or just a quiet drink and take in the atmosphere of this welcoming pub.

When you visit the pub please let the staff know you have seen it on Pub Explorer.
