The White Hart Inn is situated in
the small village of Littleton upon Severn, surrounded by beautiful walks and on the Avon Cycle Route
- Bristol to Gloucester - easily located from Bristol. Dating back
to the 1600’s, it has been an Inn since about 1880 and retains lovely
old features such as the flagstone floors, two original fireplaces with
real fires, old wooden beams and low ceilings. It is very much a
'chocolate box' pub. There are cherry trees to the front and we
have
spectacular sunsets and fantastic views of the River Severn from the front
garden. To the rear of the pub we have an attractive cider orchard, with different
varieties of cider apples growing. This is a friendly pub offering well kept
real ales and good quality traditional English pub food. All our food is
freshly prepared with delicious dishes such as our very own version
of traditional sausage and mash, (made using local sausages and our own beer
& onion sauce), or chicken breast with cider sauce or smoked apple and cheddar
sauce. Over lunchtime we have a great ploughman's available, in which we use all
British cheeses. You can choose to dine throughout the pub or outside
during the summer time. Follow this up with a handmade pudding if you
can eat any more! If your mouth is watering why not follow the
directions and visit us as soon as you can. You will receive a
very warm welcome.
