into a sports bar with big screen for the over 18's and a restaurant
serving quality Hungry Horse food, The
Wheatpieces is decorated in modern colours with a very light
and airy atmosphere. A pleasant place to enjoy a meal and pint with
friends, we show football on the big screen and have a pool table, darts
board and skittles alley for the sports enthusiasts. This modern purpose-built pub has been recently refurbished and
extended. Situated in the middle of a private housing estate we have
a good locals following with a trouble free atmosphere. Our
excellent food attracts people from great distances to be enjoyed in
very attractive surroundings. For our quality food we won the
Hungry Horse Pub of the Year Kitchen of Excellence award for 2002.
With trees, shrubs and a good garden we are an ideal place for friends and
