In March 2012 we introduced an exciting new Buffet to our food offering. As well as the extensive main menu served every day we also have an evening fresh & reasonably priced buffet available to all. Old Nelson pub Stroud The Old Nelson is a fantastic, Grade I listed building with a conservatory overlooking Stratford Park in Stroud. The pub has been extended to create more space and can now seat 250 diners! The original part of the building, however, still has interesting features such as the original windows. The pub is decorated to a typical Brewers Fayre theme and is open plan allowing for families to dine anywhere. Many of our guests are business people staying at the Premier Inn during the week whereas visitors at the weekend are usually popping in when attending Cheltenham Races, local horse trials or weddings. Quality Brewers Fayre food is served at a reasonable price from an extensive menu and the children's menu has appetizing choices for our younger visitors. Our bar staff are fantastic and will make you very welcome. Come and see us when you are next in the area.
