WHAT'S NEW & FORTHCOMING

REFURBISHMENT

During May 2010 The Air Balloon had a major refurbishment resulting in an even better environment for customers to relax in all year round. Inside and out, the pub has been enhanced with contemporary additions to complement the classic ‘country pub’ feel in this famous Gloucestershire landmark. To coincide with the change of décor, a new set of menus have been introduced and what a selection there is! Although there are differences in the comprehensive lunch and dinner menus, many of the dishes are available on both and each is supported by a ‘daily specials board’.

DINING AT OUR PUB

We offer a comprehensive lunch and dinner menus, there may be some differences however many of the dishes are available on both and each is supported by a daily specials board and what a selection there is!

BOOKINGS	Bookings are taken for table is the restaurant. It is highly recommended you book early especially for Sundays lunchtimes to avoid disappointment.

GOLDEN YEARS MENU	Available to over 60's Tuesday 12noon - 9pm. Select 2 courses £5.25 or 3 courses £6.75.
SPICE NIGHT	Available Wednesday evening. Alongside our main menu & specials there are also spicier dishes to choose from for £8.99.
NICE AS PIE NIGHT	Available Thursday from 6pm. Choose a curry & a drink from a selection for £7.45.
SIZZLER NIGHT	Available Friday from 6pm. Choose a sizzler meal & a drink from a selection for £9.95.
SUNDAY ROAST	Traditional Sunday lunch with choice of meat and selection fresh vegetables and served with all the trimmings for £8.99.

The Air Balloon pub Birdlip

Situated at Crickey Hill, near Birdlip, on the junction of the A417, B4070 and A436, The Air Balloon is particularly easy to get to from anywhere in Cheltenham and it’s suitable for the whole family .Outside there are large car parks and two garden areas one laid to lawn, the other an extensive split-level patio with plenty of cover and heaters to prolong your enjoyment of the summer evenings. Adjacent to the patios is a ‘kids play area’ so you can unwind with one eye still on the little ones. The interior of the pub is deceptive – catering for up to 100 diners but, due to the layout of the restaurant areas, it is a particularly comfortable environment in which to eat. There is also plenty of room and comfy seating areas for those wishing to just sample some of the fine ales, wines or spirits, maybe next to the Inglenook fireplace and wood burner during cooler weather. The final ingredient, ensuring your visit to The Air Balloon is full of satisfaction are the people working on your behalf which are a skilled and energetic team dedicated to customer service.
