The Old Grey
Mare is a substantial and beautifully decorated pub /
hotel, the furnishings and services are of a very high standard. We are sited almost opposite the
University
and attract many students and passing trade as well as being a favourite
place to stay for those visiting the University. Our new extensive
menu offers great pub food, with two for one on selected dishes.
The bar is well stocked and special offers on popular drinks are
available all day every day. Our en-suite accommodation is very comfortable
and clean. We hold regular entertainment from weekly quizzes to
occasional live entertainment. A good all round pub, you will always
receive a warm welcome at the Old Grey Mare.
