 The
Red Lion, built
in approximately 1900, is a friendly, traditional
locals pub serving great food in East Sussex. The large
building is situated on the central crossroads of
Stone Cross, Pevensey making it easy to find from
any
direction. Inside there is a warm red and cream
colour scheme, complemented by leather sofas, brass
chandeliers and open fires. There is a large
dining area which is separate from the bar and a welcoming
informal atmosphere. Being close to Pevensey
Castle we attract visitors as well as regular locals
who come here both to dine and have a drink with
friends.
Our reputation as a destination for dining is
