Franklin Tavern PhotoFranklin Tavern is located on the main road from Lewes into Brighton, not far from the University.  For those discerning customers looking for a venue of high standards and a clean environment, this is the place to come.  It is a truly lovely pub to visit with friends for a tasty meal or a quality drink.  We have a locals clientele of about 100 regulars and also attract a mixture of students along with many ladies and older customers.  Friday night sees a younger group who go on into town and the major matches shown on the plasma screen draws the Sport enthusiasts.  Our increased popularity has made it advisable to come early, especially on a Sunday.  Customers can fax or phone their orders through and reserve a table if they wish.  There are plans afoot to increase the real ales on offer so don't miss out.  Come and try this trouble free pub with its really friendly staff soon.
