The Foresters Arms
is located on the High Street in Fairwarp, near
Uckfield. Standing on the edge of Ashdown Forest,
this attractive venue was originally a private
house, prior to becoming a
licensed premises in 1898. The area is steeped
in history, some of which is recounted on the walls
of this traditional
olde world pub. Rumoured to be haunted by a
previous landlord, there are low ceiling and
original oak beams, plus a log fire to enhance that
traditional ambiance. Outside there is a
spacious garden to relax and enjoy the summer
weather with a quality pint and delicious meal.
Once a month we are usually treated to a display of
Morris dancing which is not to be missed. Come
and receive your warm welcome at this delightful
