 Ye Olde Crown
is situated on the High Street in the town of Rayleigh and, having the best floral decoration in town,
were chosen winners of Rayleigh in Bloom 2006! The building dates back
to the mid 1600's when it used to be a Coaching House. Today it is an
old fashioned pub in the sense that you can come here for a good drink and a
chat and we have remained a traditional pub, not changed to a themed one or
wine bar. There is always a great atmosphere here and, being trouble
free, we welcome all with ages ranging from 18 to 80 and families coming
during the daytime. Inside is very olde worlde with original exposed
beams and other original features such as
the windows. We serve food from a main menu and this can be complemented by
a choice wine or quality real ale if preferred. Come and see us soon
and enjoy some relaxation at Ye Olde Crown.
