 This fresh looking
Yates's bar is situated in the
centre of the garrison town of Colchester facing down the High Street. Clean
and modern, the venue was
refurbished in November, 2005. During the day we attract shoppers and
office
workers who spend their lunch break with us having a meal or come for a
relaxing drink with friends or colleagues. In the evening we
become the busiest pub in town. We have a great team of
staff, many of whom have worked here for years and they help make this the
most popular place in Colchester. Every other weekend the staff dress up, which
adds to the party atmosphere. We are a trouble free venue where everyone
18+ gets on together, from local regulars to students and soldiers. Many people come
from the outskirts of town, including Ipswich and Clacton for a night out.
There is almost always something going on here, from a karaoke to DJ led
music so make sure you don't miss out!
