The Wig & Pen
is located on the High Street in Colchester. We re-opened
in March 2008 following a refurbishment & a new look. With
warm welcoming decor & new fixtures, fittings & comfy seating
this is a great place to relax for a meal or drink. It is
part of the circuit with Yates's next door and a club further up
the road. We have a large base of regular locals and also
attract office workers and shoppers during the day who enjoy
their lunch break with us. Food is served from a main menu with our special offers being very popular. This is a
trouble free, female friendly venue and being part of the pub
watch scheme helps to keep it that way. We are very Sport
orientated and all major matches are shown on the Drop Down
Screen
and numerous TVs around the open plan bar. No vital goal
need be missed as we even have a TV in the men's toilets!
