 Very
old and situated on the riverside in a picturesque location, the Wharf
Hotel attracts a varying range of customers throughout the
day. This chameleon pub is the best place for business people at
lunchtimes and caters for the young and old in the evening with superb
entertainment and drinks. Value for money food is served
from our main menu, with a daily offer on many main meals. We hold regular weekly events such as a
quiz and DJ, but also numerous 'one off' entertainment evenings.
These are always great fun and very popular! We are still a very
traditional pub with plenty of character, being built of brick /
stone and retaining fireplaces in both bars. The pub is deceptively
large with two rooms. Outside we have 12 benches or many like to
sit on the sea wall and enjoy the view. We have plenty of sports facilities including
sky sports shown on the big screen and plasma TVs, we can show different
matches at the same time eg rugby on one screen, football on another. If you are
looking for a change of venue for the better, this is definitely a place
not to be overlooked.
