We serve traditional British Pub Food, all freshly prepared from
our
daily changing menu which is displayed on a blackboard and with
suggested bar snacks displayed around the bar. Our homemade pies
are very popular & must be tried! Vegetarian dishes are always
available.

is a family owned country pub restaurant
with accommodation in
Great Yeldham close to
the Essex/Suffolk border. Situated on the A604 from Harwich to
Cambridge this 16th Century Inn is close to Halstead, Sudbury and
Haverhill, with Colchester, Britain's oldest recorded town, just 20
miles away. Local attractions include the Norman Keep of Castle
Hedingham and Constable Country. With Stansted Airport also only
20 miles from here this is an ideal place to stay en route for business
or holiday travel. The pub is

and we serve a good selection of real ales and wines to complement your
meal which can be chosen from a main menu or the chef's Specials board
